Careers

There is no single career path that people take after studying physics as an undergraduate. For example, teaching high school science, working in industry, going to medical school, and going on to graduate school are just some of the paths our undergraduates have taken. This can be exciting (you have so many options!) and challenging (how do I best prepare for what I want to do?) at the same time. The sites below have lots of up to date information on employment opportunities for physics and astronomy degree holders, as well as career building tips and advice. You can also contact our department if you have any questions about career opportunities in physics and astronomy.
